Flamenco Talks and Demonstrations

FLAMENCO TALKS AND DEMONSTRATIONS UKFlamenco Talk and Demonstration by Sandra La Espuelita

Spanish Flamenco Music and Dance is a wonderful art form that has a fascinating history. Where does it come from? Why is the palmas (clapping) so important? Do the dances themselves have meaning?

Combining a talk about the history of Flamenco, its origins and many different forms with demonstrations of the dances themselves - all in full costume and with a guitarist or pre-recorded specialist music - can mean an experience with a difference for clubs and societies with members of all ages.

Each society has its own requirements - a little talk with a lot of dancing; dancing with a flamenco workshop for members to join in; more talk and less dancing - the combinations are legion.

Sandra La Espuelita works regularly within UK Schools and Colleges, Spanish Societies, Day Clubs and Retirement Homes as well as other groups such as Rotary Clubs and various Charity organisations. A Flamenco Talk and Demonstration could be an exciting "something with a difference" to offer your members!
